Not a freshman or Running Start student? Not a transfer student or an international student? Chances are you're a returning student.

In general, there are two types of returning students at EWU.

    1. Returning EWU undergraduates: you started at EWU and enrolled in classes but never graduated.
    2. EWU alumni who want an additional B.A.: you graduated from EWU, and you're looking to increase your qualifications for the professional world with another bachelor's degree from EWU.

Are you looking to earn a master's degree at EWU? You'll want to apply through Graduate Studies.

If you have any questions, be sure to call us at 509.359.2397 or reach out to us via online chat.

Confirming Your Decision to Attend as a Returning Student

If you previously attended EWU as a college student before fall 2018, call EWU Admissions at 509.359.2397 to confirm your admission. This doesn't apply to Running Start, EWU in the High School, or concurrent enrollment students.

      EWU's Nondiscrimination Policy

EWU does not discriminate in its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, age, marital status, families with children, protected veteran or military status, HIV or hepatitis C, status as a mother breastfeeding her child, or the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability or the use of a trained guide dog or service animal by a person with a disability, as provided for and to the extent required by state and federal laws.
