Nearly 1 in 3 students in last year's freshman class was member of a minority group. That makes EWU one of the most diverse college campuses in the Pacific Northwest.

Of course, diversity is more than race and ethnicity. Students in 2013 came from 43 states and 70 countries, and half of all EWU students are first-generation college students.

Campus thrives on diversity, and our community strives to promote an environment that is free of discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation. Our success depends on how well we value, engage, include, and utilize the rich diversity of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
