    EWU Digital Commons (Institutional Repository)

A digital commons (also called an institutional repository) is an online platform and suite of services that enables the University to collect, preserve, and showcase the quality intellectual output of the University to the global community. The EWU Digital Commons makes both student and faculty research and creative work discoverable and accessible by the broader academic community and the world.

It's always interesting to see what the ten most popular papers are at any given point in time. You can also check out the current readership map and see who's accessing the Digital Commons.

The Eastern Washington University Libraries Digital Collections are created and maintained by the Archives & Special Collections department of the Eastern Washington University Libraries.  Our site contains digital versions of photographs, drawings, lithographs, maps, facsimile documents, and oral history transcripts.

The original items which have been digitized are contained in collections of materials created by private persons or organizations as well as the records of Eastern Washington University and its predecessors.  The original items are available for use and study in the Archives & Special Collections in the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library on the EWU campus in Cheney, Washington.
