Hello!  I am the Director of Eastern Washington University's specialist level School Psychology Program.  The program has been approved by the National Association of School Psychologists (see and involves three years of full time study and field experiences.  I received my B.S. in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 1990 and M.S. and Ed.S. degrees from the College of William and Mary in 1993/1994.  I worked as a school psychologist in Virginia, Texas, Hawaii, and California before returning to school to obtain my Ph.D. in Education with specialization in School Psychology in 2005 at the University of California, Riverside. My family relocated to the northwest to enjoy being close to family in Montana, and I initially worked as a school psychologist in Coeur d'Alene, ID, before coming to Eastern Washington University.

My research interests involve practices associated with Multi-tiered Systems of Support and development and delivery of academic and social-behavioral interventions for students at-risk in PreK-12 settings.

I am currently serving as half-time Associate Dean for the College of Arts, Letters & Education

I teach in both the Residential (on campus) Ed.S. School Psychology Program and in the Respecialization Ed.S. School Psychology Online Program.  I teach:
