CHENEY, Washington - Eastern Washington University President Mary Cullinan has named Shari Clarke, PhD, as the founding Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Eastern.

Clarke comes to EWU from Ohio University, where she has served as Vice Provost for Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer since 2014.   "Eastern Washington University is uniquely poised to lead in the areas of diversity and inclusion based on the institution's visible commitment to inclusive excellence," said Clarke.
