Why does the "Priority Deadline" matter?

When you complete your admissions application by the priority application deadline, you have financial aid and registration priority over students who apply after the deadline. This is a pretty big deal if you plan on receiving grants, work study and other forms of financial aid. Apply early!

Just make sure you submit your FAFSA and EWU Scholarship Application by that date, too.

Fall Priority Admission Deadlines: Feb. 1

If you want to attend EWU in the fall, you have one crucial deadline to remember: Feb. 1. It's two weeks before Valentine's Day, and to show your love for EWU, you need to make sure we have all your application materials by midnight Feb. 1.

You can submit your admission application without completing your FAFSA or your EWU scholarship application, but you'll miss out on millions in scholarships and financial aid.

An Important Note about the Feb. 1 Scholarship Deadline

Apply for admission by Jan. 15 to make sure you have enough time to apply for scholarships.

You need an EWU NetID to apply for EWU scholarships, and to get a NetID you first need to submit your application for admission. It can take several days to process your application, generate a NetID, and communicate that NetID to you.

Completing your application for admission by Jan. 15 means you'll have enough time to receive your NetID and apply for scholarships.

Priority Consideration for Housing: May 15

Submit your $125 housing fee and sign up early to live in EWU's residence halls. Space in the residence halls is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can apply for family housing at
