    Congratulations on your acceptance to Eastern Washington University! More than 12,000 students call Eastern home, and we're excited for you to join them.

    Step 1: Confirm Your Enrollment

    What You'll Need

    1. The user name and password you used to create your admissions application
    2. A credit card to pay your $200 non-refundable enrollment fee (starting fall 2016, the fee increases to $250)

    Where to Start

    1. Visit ewu.edu/applynow and log in.
    2. Click the link "Your application decision is now available online".
    3. Then click the "Confirm Now" button.
    4. Complete the enrollment form and pay your enrollment fee.

    What You Should Know

    1. Once we receive your enrollment fee, we'll send you a letter to let you know your spot is reserved.
    2. Without confirming your admissions, you cannot register for classes and will not receive your I-20.

    Step 2b: Start the Transfer Process (Only for Students Already in the United States)

    What You'll Need

    1. Your EWU acceptance letter
    2. Transfer verification form
    3. Official financial documents

    Where to Start

    1. Notify your current school that you're transferring to EWU
    2. Submit your financial documents to EWU
    3. Make sure you transfer your SEVIS record before you start classes at EWU

    What You Should Know

    1. The transfer process can be complicated. Start early!
    2. Every situation is different. You may have have additional requirements.

    Step 2b: Start Your Immigration Paperwork (Only for Students in Foreign Countries)

    What You'll Need

    1. Form I-20
    2. OFficial financial documents
    3. Passport

    Where to Start

    1. Visit our information on immigration and visas .
    2. Review all requirements
    3. Complete visa requirements in your country
    4. Submit all required documents to EWU

    Step 3: Submit Your Final Transcripts and Test Scores

    What You'll Need

    1. Final, official transcripts from any colleges and high schools (make sure your official high school transcript has your graduation date on it) 
    2. Official test scores for tests like TOEFL or IELTS

    What You Should Know

    1. Your final transcripts are required.
    2. If we do not receive final transcripts, you will not be able to register for classes after your first term.

    Step 4: Contact International Student Services

    What You'll Need

    1. Your NetID or EWUID
    2. Your personal information like name and home country

    Where to Start

    Visit International Student Services and click "Required Steps to Get Started".

    What You Should Know

    1. Most new EWU students are required to live on campus. For more information about the requirement and exceptions, visit the Housing and Residential Life website.
    2. Married students, single parents, and their dependent children and all graduate students can live on campus, too. Call 509.359.2452, email apartments@ewu.edu or visit ewu.edu/apartments to learn more.
    3. International Student Services helps you with orientation, travel arrangements, and signing up for classes.
