Why does the "Priority Application Deadline" matter?

When you complete your admissions application by the priority application deadline, you have financial aid and registration priority over students who apply after the deadline. This is a pretty big deal if you plan on receiving grants, work study and other forms of financial aid. Apply early!

Just make sure you submit your FAFSA and EWU Scholarship Application by that date, too.

Fall Priority Admission Deadlines: Feb. 15

If you want to attend EWU in the fall, you have one crucial deadline to remember: Feb. 15. It's the day after Valentine's Day, and to show your love for EWU, you need to make sure we have all your application materials by midnight Feb. 15.

You can submit your admission application without completing your FAFSA or your EWU scholarship application, but you'll likely miss out on millions of dollars in financial aid and scholarship.

An Important Note about the Feb. 15 Scholarship Deadline

Apply for admission by Feb. 1 to make sure you have enough time to apply for scholarships.

You need an EWU NetID to apply for EWU scholarships, and to get a NetID you first need to submit your application for admission. It can take several days to process your application, generate a NetID, and communicate that NetID to you.

Completing your application for admission by Feb. 1 means you'll have enough time to receive your NetID and apply for scholarships.

Fall Priority Housing Deadline: May 15

Submit your $125 housing fee by May 15 to take advantage of special sign-up bonuses.  After May 15, space in the residence halls will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
