    Registration for our Summer Learn to Skate Program is now OPEN!!

    To Sign up, either Call or visit the Customer Service Desk in the URC!


    Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday (See schedule Below).

    Each session consists of 2 classes per week for 2 weeks.  You can sign up for as many sessions as you like.

    Each class is $40 per session and includes skate rental and helmet if requested.

    (We currently DO NOT offer private 1 on 1 lessons)

    All ages and skill levels are welcome!

    Learn to Skate Beginners: Skaters with no or very little skating experience. Students will develop a basic knowledge of gliding, stopping and turning on ice and develop the balance and control necessary to skate safely.

    Learn to Skate Intermediate: Must show competence above the Beginner Learn to Skate Level.  Skaters who want to learn/improve forward and backward crossovers, beginning turns, hockey-stops, etc. Students will develop a basic knowledge of footwork drills and moves commonly used in Hockey and Figure Skating.  

    Beginner Figure Skating: Skaters who are working on beginning jumps and spins, low level moves on the ice.  

    Advanced Figure Skating: Must show competence above the Beginner Figure Skating Level.  Skaters working on multi-revolution jumps, combination spins and higher level moves on the ice.
