Join our EWU Tribal Planning Programs at our Riverpoint Campus near downtown Spokane for an exceptional learning opportunity. We will offer two intensive classes, 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Thursday, including a one-day tour and field research project scheduled on a nearby reservation. “Introduction to American Indian Tribal Planning” offers an overview of the processes and evolution of tribal planning and its practice today. A one-day tour and “charrette” plan project on a nearby reservation is part of the class. “Tribal Transportation Planning” offers an overview of all aspects of tribal transportation planning and transportation programs. There is a one-day tour to a local reservation that includes hands-on application of road inventory techniques.
Lodging is available adjoining the EWU Riverpoint Campus downtown. The class can be taken as a workshop or as a college undergraduate or graduate class for credit.
