    The Library Student Liaison is here to help...

          1. Boost communication between the EWU Libraries and the student body of Eastern Washington University.     

          2. Express student views on library services and help determine priorities for student informational needs.

          3. Increase student participation in library programs and activities.

    My office is always open if you have any suggestions/comments/complaints, want to suggest/collaborate an event you want to see happen in the library, or need help with the library in general!  

    Eagles Who Read to Lead

    Attention EWU Juniors! It's that time of year again for Eagles Who Read to Lead. The EWU Libraries is recognizing student leaders who excel academically by featuring them in posters around the library. If you are a junior who is or has previously help a position in a club, organization or athletic sport while still maintaining an accumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, then apply to be an Eagle Who Reads to Lead!

    Complete the application and email it to stuliaison@ewu.edu by April 18th, 2014 at 5pm, along with the following documents:

    Get involved with the Library Student Advisory Committee!

    Library Student Advisory CommitteeThe Library Student Advisory Committee was formed to enable a strong student perspective to the needs and modern learning styles of EWU students today. Comprised of EWU students from different areas of the university, this committee will offer input and suggestions to library administration in an effort to enhance the student-focused learning environment. Contact Nicole at stuliaison@ewu.edu if you have any questions or are interested in being a part of the committee.    

    Activities put on in the Library:

            1. Read to Lead

            2. Creative Writing Contest 

            3. Wii Bowling Tournament

            4. Many more!

     About EWU Libraries Student Liaison, Nicole Sestrap: 
    "I was born and bred on the west side of Washington, specifically the Ferndale and Sedro-Woolley areas. I'm currently a senior at Eastern, studying Psychology with minors in Communication Studies and Business Administration.

    I took this job so I can be the voice for students when it comes to issues involving the library, so use me! I'm fairly resourceful, easily approachable and always willing to help anyone who needs the help! Feel free to come see me at anytime if you have any comments, concerns or ideas involving the library." 

    The student liaison's office, U05, is located on the third floor of the JFK Library near the administration office.
