    Other Frequently Asked Questions:

Does the Library have wireless access?

In JFK Library, choose the "JFKLIBRARY" wireless network to get the best connection.  The rest of the Cheney campus uses the "Wi-EWU-access" wireless network.

The Riverpoint Campus Library has a handout that gives directions on how to connect to the Riverpoint campus wireless network.

What computers can I use to type up a paper, create a PowerPoint, etc.?

JFK Library has desktop computers on all three levels that have Microsoft Office installed on them.  A map is available at the JFK Reference Desk.  You may also check out a laptop from the Lower Level Services Desk, or go over to the computer lab at PUB 365 or the MARS lab in Monroe Hall Room 305.

At the Riverpoint Campus Library, all of the desktop computers have Microsoft Office installed.

How long may I have the laptop checked out? Can I reserve one ahead of time?

At the JFK Library, laptops circulate for 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days. You may reserve one by going to Equipment Reservations.

Riverpoint Campus Library laptops circulate for 4 hours or 1 day.

Do you have any digital cameras, camcorders, or projectors I can check out?

Yes. The library has several digital cameras and Handycam camcorders, courtesy of the student tech fee. These check out for 3 days. Since there aren't that many, we encourage you to reserve one ahead of time.

Where can I put money on my EagleCard for printing and photocopying?

In JFK Library, there's a PHIL machine next to the photocopiers on the Main Level. You may add money to your existing Flex account. If you have not started an EagleFlex account, you may go to the EagleCard services desk in Tawanka to start one. Or you can purchase a blank card for $1, then add value to the card.

There's also a PHIL machine in the Riverpoint, Campus Library.  You can set up an EagleFlex account at EWU Academic Affairs in Phase One.

    Where are the photocopiers?

In JFK Library, they are located on the Main Level. Click here for more information.

At the Riverpoint Campus Library, there is one photocopier to the left of the Circulation Desk.
