What if I can't find the item on the shelf?
If you can't find library material which the Library Catalog indicates is either available or checked out, you may request a search for the item, or a recall of the item, by filling out a Materials Search/Request Card at the Circulation Desk. A staff member will notify you when the material is available and will hold it at the Circulation Desk under your name for one week.
Or you may look for a copy in Summit and request the item be sent to this Library. Please allow 2-3 working days.
What if I need an item that says "Being Processed for EWU" in the Library Catalog?
Bring the information about the item to the Reference Desk and place a Rush-Cataloging request. You will be notified when the material is ready for you to check out (within a week, if possible), and we will hold the item under your name at the Circulation Desk.
