EWU Libraries has more than 14,000 videos in our collection, virtually all located on the lower level of the JFK Library. EWU-held videos circulate to EWU students and staff for seven (7) days/no renewals, and to EWU faculty for seven (7) days/one (1) renewal.
To locate a video owned by EWU Libraries, use the Advanced Search in the EWU Library Catalog, and change the location to Videos/DVDs. If you only want a title in DVD format, limit your search by adding the word DVD in the search box.
Some libraries in the Summit system will loan out videos in their collections. Videos requested from a Summit Library circulate for only three (3) days. If the video is from a WorldCat Library (outside the Summit system), the check out period is at the discretion of the lending library.
To locate a video, do a search by title or keyword in the EWU WorldCat Catalog, then limit your results on the left side of the screen to Video (if you don't care if it is DVD or VHS), or by DVD or VHS. Click the red Request button if it is held by a Summit Library or WorldCat Library.
