Robert has practiced in outpatient orthopedics and industrial rehabilitation in hospital based and private practice settings as a Certified Hand Therapist since 1996. He transitioned into teaching following completion of his OTD and has taught occupational therapy at the undergraduate, masters, and doctorate levels at Rocky Mountain Univeristy and Western New Mexico University. His research interests include evidence-based practice, health promotion and wellness with adults, adolescents, and children with risk factors for chronic illness. Robert's interests includes trail running, kayaking, river watching, reading, permaculture design, and journeying with friends and family.
