    The Bachelor of Science Program prepares students for careers as professional geologists, provides the basis for admission to graduate school, and prepares students seeking registration and licensing as professional geologists. Some courses in the BS degree will also count as natural science GECRs.

    Select credits from Geology courses, eight of which must be upper-division.

    Note: The BS major does not require the completion of a minor. Some courses in the BS degree will also count as Natural Science GECRs and satisfy the university proficiency in Mathematics requirement. Grade requirement-2.0 in each course; 2.5 cumulative average. University graduation requirement: 60 credits of upper division coursework.
