CWTAP Application Process

Abstract

The first step of the process is to apply for and be accepted into Eastern Washington University's Master of Social Work Program. An application must be either accepted or pending before applying to CWTAP.

    The first step is to apply to the EWU Master of Social Work Program.  An application must be either accepted or pending before applying to CWTAP. 

    Applicants must be willing to commit, upon acceptance to the CWTAP, to a specified period of employment with CA following graduation.

    CWTAP students who do not hold permanent employment status with CA at the time of graduation must be prepared to seek and accept a permanent CA position wherever available, statewide.

    The Everett part-time program is not currently accepting applications for CWTAP. For more information about the CWTAP application process for the Everett part-time program, please contact Cathi Plummer at (425) 405.1628,  or cplummer@ewu.edu. For overall CWTAP program information, please contact Diana Patterson at (425) 405.1624, dpatterson@ewu.edu.

    The new Spokane Hybrid part-time program is not currently accepting applications for CWTAP. The Hybrid program will serve students throughout Eastern Washington in a combined distance learning and classroom format. For more information about the application process for CWTAP in the Spokane Hybrid part-time program, please contact Debbie Charron at (509) 363.3346 or dcharron19@ewu.edu. For more information about CWTAP in the Spokane Hybrid part-time program, please contact Bob Stirling at (509) 363.4629 or stirlrw@dshs.wa.gov.

    The Cheney full-time program is now accepting applications for CWTAP, application deadline is July 31, 2014, for the next MSW cohort beginning fall quarter 2014. For more information about the CWTAP application process for the Cheney full-time program, please contact Debbie Charron at (509) 363.3346 or dcharron19@ewu.edu. For more information about Cheney's CWTAP program in general, please contact Bob Stirling at (509) 363.4629 or stirlrw@dshs.wa.gov.

    The Vancouver part-time program is not currently accepting applications for CWTAP. The next MSW cohort is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2015.
