Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Resource Fair

Greetings from Eastern Washington University's Chicano Education Program. EWU's Chicano Education Program is honored in hosting this event designed to attract 350 Latino parents and students to participate in a one-day college informational and cultural performances (Chicano Cultural Day).

The event will take place on:

Date: Wednesday, May 7 2014

Time: 12:00 p.m. - 4 p.m. 

Location:  In the campus mall. (In case of inclement weather the event will be held in the PUB MPR) 

We encourage you to investigate potential programs that could provide means of transportation, which would encourage parent and student participation.  Some suggestions are the school districts, Gear Up Programs, PAC groups, Migrant Education, TRIO Programs, and local community agencies.
