Staying true to his commitment to student success, diversity and inclusion, President Arévalo has decided to spend time in the CEP offices over the reminder of the academic year.
He will be hosting office hours in the Chicano Education Program, in Monroe Hall, for students and staff to visit with him. It is his hope that he will be able to facilitate a dialog that identifies strategies for creating an improved daily atmosphere and a renewed sense of community for students.
As the first Latino president at a public four-year college or university in the state of Washington, and a 42-year successful career in higher education, President Arévalo has a great deal of wisdom to share.
And best of all, he truly enjoys interacting with students. Please take advantage of the opportunity and pay Dr. A a visit!
