Diane Norell is a full time special faculty member who teaches the mental health courses such as group process and mental health within the Department of Occupational Therapy. She also one of two Academic Fieldwork Coordinators for Level I and II Fieldworks. Her interests and expertise are in mental health illnesses, group process and intervention, and multifamily psychoeducation. She has been a practicing occupational therapist for the past 30 years with experience in mainly mental health illnesses and rehabilitation. Ms. Norell received her BS in occupational therapy in 1974, from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., and earned her MSW degree from Eastern Washington University in 1982. Her leisure interests include volunteering with youth, singing, camping, hiking, and international travel.
