Abstract

The Urban Planning programs offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in urban and regional planning. Both degree programs are professionally accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board.

    The Urban and Regional Planning minor provides a overview of historical context to the concepts, theories and application of urban and regional planning and community development.

    What will I study?

    A total of 15 credits in Urban and Regional Planning coursework is required.

    Select one course from the Urban Planning classes listed below (5 credits)

    PLAN 201 Introduction to Urban and Regional Planning (5)

    PLAN 261 Community Development (5)

    PLAN 301 Planning Methods and Techniques (5)

    AND complete an additional 10 credits from the courses listed above or any other planning courses.
