Tyler Tritten received his PhD at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. His research is centered in 19th, 20th and 21st century Continental philosophy, but he has a genuine interest in the entire history of philosophy. He has published on Schelling, Levinas, Tillich, Agamben, Nancy, Badiou and Meillassoux and in the areas of ontology, ethics, theory of language, philosophy of religion and philosophy of film. He is currently working on a book to be tentatively titled: On the Contingency of Necessity: Toward an Ontology of the Fact.
