    January 28 - March 13, 2015

    The Two by Two: small-scale ceramic sculpture biennial is open to all artists eighteen years of age and older. Artworks must be original, completed within the last three years, and not have been previously exhibited at Eastern Washington University.

    Juror
    Timea Tihanyi is a Hungarian born visual artist living and working in Seattle, Washington. Tihanyi holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary; a BFA in Ceramics from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston; and a MFA in Ceramics from the University of Washington, where she has been a member of the Interdisciplinary Visual Arts program faculty since 2004.

    Tihanyi's work has been exhibited in the United States, Australia, Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands, including Shepparton Art Museum, Henry Art Gallery, Bellevue Art Museum, Mint Museum of Art and Design, Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburg, Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences, Foundry Art Center, and International Museum of Surgical Science. She has participated in international residencies in ceramics at the Kohler Company, European Ceramic Workcenter, and European Ceramics Context. In Seattle, Tihanyi's work has been part of numerous solo and group exhibitions at Gallery 4Culture, CoCA, Consolidated works, Seattle Art Museum (SAM) Gallery, Davidson Contemporary, SOIL Gallery, and at the Linda Hodges Gallery, which currently represents her work. www.timeatihanyi.com
