Daniele Di Lodovico, Ph.D Art History, Classical Art, Medieval Art, Renaissance Art, Modern Art
Daniele is intersted in the role of the artwork and its interaction with the audience and the sensory and spiritual experience of art's materiality.
He is a Lecturere of Art History and recieved his BFA/MA in Art History from Perugia University in 2002 and his MA in Italian Studies & Ph.D in Art History from the Unversity of Washington.
His research interests are focused on the audience experience from a devotional prespective during the Medieval and Renaissance period and how the artistic medium affects the experience of the sacred and the art object.
Daniele's hobbies include, music, cooking and working out.

Debbie has been a part of Eastern Washington University since August 1989.
She has worked in numerous departments within the university campus.
During her 27 year career at EWU she has been fortunate enough to work along side
many wonderful professors and staff members.
Debbie has also had the opportunity to take a variety of higher education
courses at EWU ranging from Descriptive Astronomy to Papermaking.
Her hobbies include tatting (a form of lace making), knitting, and some quilting.
Now a days most of her travels are to places where she can enjoy playing with her grandchildren.

Jodi Patterson is a Michigan native who came to EWU via IN, FL, WV and Ireland. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master degrees at Central Michigan University and her terminal degree at Goddard College. With over two decades of teaching experience, she earned tenure as a k-12 teacher and now devotes her time to teaching future educators about the benefits of the Visual Arts. She currently serves as the advisor and coordinator of our Art Education program. Her research has been presented in competitive forums and national conferences, and published in national and international peer-reviewed journals including "International Journal of Art in Education" and the "Visual Arts Research Journal." Jodi is a working artist/painter whose work has been exhibited in numerous major cities (and small towns) in the U.S. and Europe.
Jodi has been teaching courses in Art History and Art Education since joining the EWU Art Department as an Assistant Professor in the fall of 2013. She is an interdisciplinary artist who uses art and travel to inform her research in critically inclined place base pedagogies. Jodi spends her time making art, advocating for food awareness, and visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
