    Jorge Garcia, is the ASEWU Diversity Outreach for the 2015-2016. He was origginally born in Michoacán, Mexico, but was raised in Wenatchee, Washington and graduated being as panther at WHS. Currently a Junior here at Eastern Washington University, Jorge is currently working on obtaining his Master's degree in sociology with minors in both Spanish and women studies. He hopes to achieve his dream goal by working for an international adoption organization. Jorge had been actively participating with the Up Til' Dawn group, and volunteered as a lunch time mentor in the community elementary schools and is involved with the Pride Center, he considers everyone as equal, "si todos somos iguales". Still involved in his EWU community and dedicated to inspire his student body to achieve greatness. Like Tom Giaquito once said "Diversity is a strength, not a weakness."
