AbstractRunning Start is an opportunity for qualified students to take college courses during their junior and or senior year of high school. Successful completion of a course through Running Start allows a student to earn both high school and college credit.
- Students who are juniors or seniors in high school by the first quarter of Running Start. The grade status is determined by the high school.
- Students who have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 or above can be admitted without submitting any further test scores. Those who do not have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above must submit an ACT, PSAT, or SAT test score for admission consideration. Home school students are required to submit an ACT, PSAT or SAT test score for admission consideration.
- Students who are under the age of 21 at the beginning of the academic school year.
