Abstract

The Financial Aid and Scholarship Office helps you obtain funding for your higher education. Financial aid includes scholarships, grants, tuition waivers, work study and loans.

    Eastern Washington University offers the following grants to first-degree undergraduate students based on financial need.

    Federal Grants *

    * NOTE: The Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG) and National SMART Grants were discontinued in 2011-2012.

    Washington State Resident Grants

    *Undocumented students may now qualify for Washington State Need Grant under the Real Hope Act.  Eligibility information can be found on the Ready/Set/Grad web site.

    State higher education agencies throughout the nation can also provide information on other state grant programs. Search the U.S. Department of Education's database for contact information and web site addresses.
