Abstract: Wealth and Its Effects on Democracy

Mentor: Dr. Carlos Maldonado, Chicano Education and Dr. Keith Quincy, Government

The theory of Democracy is fading in accordance to the nature of time. Governments originally capsulized the power to redistribute wealth. Yet, at the present time the practice of such top to down policies have mutilated the proper workings of a functioning government. Thus, the deciphering of such linear mapping of present transitional constructs in the U.S. will be discussed.
