    George Moreno earned his B.A. at Eastern Washington University in Government with a minor in Spanish, Spring 2013. He was also a part of the Running Start Program in the state of Washington; graduating with both an Associates of Arts (Transfer Degree) and a high school diploma in 2010. George is originally from Pasco, WA but has now lived in Cheney for about 4 years. He also has a "Love/Hate" relationship with Mathematics; being a math tutor for two years at Columbia Basin College (CBC) and then being a math tutor for another two years for EWU.  At some point he was also very active in Math Team competitions for which he took a first place "For The Team" and "Individual Sections" in 2008.

    Some of his favorite hobbies include hiking, hunting, and road trips; he also does play video games on occasion. In the summer, George visits his parents and grandparents in Mexico, it is the only time he gets to have "quality family time".

    George is currently the McNair Graduate Assistant and is helping the current scholars with their graduate school applications process, the completion of funding opportunities and the implementation of Department of Education regulations and policies.  

    In 2012, He was the Graduate Assistant for the Office of Global Initiatives.. Currently he is enrolled in the Masters in Public Administration (MPA) program at Eastern Washington University. George will be applying to law schools but is considering dual or joint programs of JD/PhD.
