PLUS groups are led by EWU students trained as facilitators, many of which have previously complete the course in which they are leading.
Each quarter, Eastern Washington University offers a variety of free peer-led, discipline-based, collaborative learning groups. Students who participate in these groups attend 50-minute sessions two to three times per week for traditionally difficult courses. These collaborative learning groups are faculty and course specific, meaning students are attending sessions with peers from their class; sharing ideas, solving problems, and actively participating in the material related to the course(s) they are enrolled in.
