Welcome to Classroom Technology. Our mission is to ensure all technology in the classrooms is operating properly. We maintain 150 classrooms and help with any special events here on campus. We support enhanced classrooms, learning spaces, and meeting spaces at EWU. While our primary mission is support, we offer many additional services at no charge to any EWU department.

I have worked at Eastern for thirty years.  I was hired as a media maintenance technician and was located in the Library in the Instructional Media Center (IMC).  When that department was dissolved I spent several years as a Computer Maintenance Technician with what is now The Office of Information Technology.  My job title now is Information Technology Systems Specialist V.  I supervise a crew of two full time technicians and five students.  We design, install, and maintain the enhanced classrooms.

I have been involved in live sound and video projection systems for 23 years now as both a volunteer and a paid professional.  I currently hold 3 journeyman level licenses as both a limited energy electrician in Washington and Idaho and a Soundtech in the state of Washington.  Along with my wife, we currently direct a local gospel group which travels around the northwest and Canada of which I am their soundman.  I also enjoy several outdoor activities as well as remote control airplanes.
