    Imagine a new PUB that reflects the spirit of collaboration, interaction and opportunity that defines the student union.

    UPDATE

    Despite the positive voter turnout and the timeless design for the renovation of the Pence Union Building (PUB), the students of EWU voted 546 (no) and 536 (yes) on the ballot measure for the proposed renovation of the PUB.  Given EWU students' divided views regarding the future of the PUB, we'll continue to work with ASEWU leadership and the student body to discuss future possibilities for the building and how we may meet current students' needs for enhanced lounge, dining, and engagement opportunities.  Please check back frequently for more information about the project.

    PROJECT OVERVIEW

    Eastern Washington University has hired Perkins+Will (P+W) to provide architectural/engineering predesign services for the renovation and upgrade of the Pence Union Building (PUB). The goal of the pre-design is to establish a facility that will house programs which meets the expectations of EWU students as they relate to today's modern student union building. P+W have the expertise to engage stakeholders and assist EWU in establishing the best balance of infrastructure and aesthetic improvements with appropriate building program elements.
