    Jared Diamond, an American scientist and author of "The Third Chimpanzee, Guns, Germs and Steel, Collapse and The World Until Yesterday," will be a guest lecturer at Eastern Washington University on Thursday, April 23, 2015.

    Diamond will be on the Cheney Campus to deliver a lecture on his book Collapse at 1:00 pm in Showalter Auditorium.  At 7:00 pm, he will lecture at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox on his book The World Until Yesterday.

    The lecture on campus is free and open to the public and the EWU community.  Tickets for the evening lecture are $15, and can be purchased at   Free tickets will be available until April 16 for current students with EWU ID and can be picked up at the JFK reference desk, or the Student Services Window at Riverpoint Phase I.

    This event is sponsored by the Daniel and Margaret Carper Foundation as part of the Carper International Speaker Series.  Past presenters include; Robert Sapolsky, Bart Ehrman, and Steven Pinker.
