Three years ago, 26 lives were lost in Newtown at the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting. Ann Curry challenged the nation to do acts of kindness in honor of the lives lost. What started out as 26 Days of Kindness, EWU's response to the challenge, is now the annual Days of Kindness event. For seven days, the EWU community will plan and orchestrate acts of kindness around the campus, community, and nation (if you're really ambitious).
Our goal for 2015 is that 2,000 people will orchestrate 10,000 acts of kindness. What are you waiting for?! Start brainstorming acts of kindness with your club, organization, Greek chapter, friends, and classes! Whether they are random acts of kindness or planned, we want to hear about them! The great thing about Days of Kindness is that
If you let us know in advance, we will promote them on Facebook. Take pictures if you want, but remember to report back to us on the acts of kindness you did.
