Eastern's 2nd Annual Diversity Week celebration will be held MAY 20-23.
Diversity Week 2013 is a chance for students, staff and faculty to come together in a fun and respectful environment, to share, learn about, and celebrate the rich diversity of human experience.
• Keynote speaker, Dr. Caprice Hollins, will be holding a "Cultural Competence in the 21st Century" workshop on Monday, May 20, 12 pm-1:30 pm.
• Students, staff, and faculty will deliver presentations on various diversity topics on May 21 and 22.
• Sample free international cuisine from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, Middle/East and Mediterranean on Thursday, May 23 during the Diversity Festival.
• Also featured will be live music from Down North, bringing their funk/indie/pop sound all the way from Seattle.
