Each fall quarter since 2010, the Partnership for Civic Engagement has hosted the Student-Centered Civics Conference at the Cheney campus. The conference inspires approximately 150 West Valley students (grades 4-12) to explore civic-themed topics such as "How can I be an informed voter?" Students spend part of the day listening to guest speakers, then break into topic-focused small groups with EWU faculty and students.
