Stacey Morgan Foster joined the EWU team in 2010 as the Vice President for Student Affairs, with more than 25 years of experience in higher education. Previously, she served as the VP at California State University, Stanislaus. She also has held leadership positions at San José State University and The American University. She has a BA in English with a Secondary Teaching Credential (CSU Sacramento) and a JD (George Mason University School of Law). Foster is a committed mentor to emerging student leaders and particularly interested in developing ethical decision-making skills among students. A longtime Rotarian, Foster is regularly involved with various community boards and activities. She and her husband enjoy raising much of their own food on their small farm. They have two children: a married daughter who is an Army officer and a son in high school.
